Email hosting SCE.
1) Host new email boxes on SCE server. (MX records point to SCE)
a. Shopping Cart Elite only stores email history for the past 3 months.
b. Daily Email Default limit is 200, But it can be increased with Project Manager approval)
c. SCE recommends to go with https://postmarkapp.com/ for SMTP (outgoing emails) for all transactional emails.
2. Transfer Existing email box to SCE hosting (MX records point to SCE):
a. Shopping Cart Elite Does Not Transfer any email history to our server if the client is using their own MX records.
I. Before we start setting up the email with shopping cart elite please backup all your emails history from your current email service/server provider.
II. If you want to save your history, the only way is to save it locally on his PC via Microsoft outlook Mozilla thunderbird or any email application that offers import export feature for your data.
b. In the case you want to set your email import inside shopping cart elite keep in mind that we are storing all email history only for past 3 months, after that all old emails are deleted from server automatically and cannot be recovered.

3. Host emails on 3rd party service/provider like Google or so on (MX records point to 3rd party host).
a. Emails Cannot use SCE for operating:
I. Client should provide us one brand new/or not, email box and we'll set it up only for outgoing emails (only SMTP)
b. We will provide and set up new locked Gmail box for SCE operating.
I. SCE Tech can create brand new mailbox, like infoDOMAIN@gmail.com, and set it up for SCE operating.
II. If client wants to see all incoming emails on this mailbox in his own mailbox, tech can set up a redirect.
III. We receive emails not often than 15 min due to fraud protection on the 3rd party email providers.
